Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care for our clients, we are looking for someone who is highly motivated, caring and dedicated to delivering a high standard of care.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Provide personal care and support to individuals with varying needs.
- Monitor and document client health and progress accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Administer medications as prescribed to clients
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance caregiving skills.
Proven experience in client care or caregiving roles - This is not essential as full training is provided so you have all the skills you need to carry out this role at your best!
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques.
- Familiarity with assisting individuals with disabilities or elderly clients.
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards clients.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of medication administration protocols is preferred.
- Experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare is advantageous.
