About Us
Oxford Social is a brand-new student-focused cocktail bar and social venue in the heart of Manchester. We're building a fun, energetic brand centred around great nights out, live events, student life and unforgettable content. We're looking for a creative, confident Content Creator to become the face behind our social media.
The Role
You'll be responsible for creating engaging content for our TikTok and Instagram channels, helping grow our online presence and bringing the venue to life through video.
You'll spend time in the venue capturing content, speaking to customers, filming events and coming up with fresh ideas that fit current social media trends.
you will also be helping with promotion on the door and getting people inside of the venue
Responsibilities
- Create engaging TikToks and Instagram Reels.
- Film and edit short-form video content.
- Stay up to date with TikTok and Instagram trends.
- Interact with customers and encourage them to take part in content.
- Capture the atmosphere during busy nights and events.
- Brainstorm and pitch new content ideas.
- Work with the marketing team to promote events and offers.
- Post content where required and help grow our online community.
- Ensure all content reflects the Oxford Social brand.
What We're Looking For
- Confident speaking to people and appearing on camera.
- Someone who is very outgoing and social
- Comfortable approaching customers respectfully for content.
- Creative with a good eye for filming and editing.
- Experience using TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Knowledge of current social media trends.
- Reliable and happy to work evenings and weekends when the venue is busiest.
- Previous experience in hospitality or social media is desirable but not essential.
