We are looking for a Chef / Sous Chef who will support and work together with our Head Chef and kitchen team. You’ll be involved in many aspects of kitchen operations whilst serving 2 bars with 2 different menus - from preparing, cooking, plating and delivering food service to managing stock levels and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy. You will be working with fresh produce to create our own recipes and dishes, using high-tech equipment in our focused and composed environment.
At the very least, you’ll bring great qualifications and experience of working in a commercial kitchen. Your level of experience will determine the level of appointment and remuneration. But you have to be honest, reliable and show us some pride in your work to date. You’ll also understand the flexibility needed to work in a fast-paced family business and be excited about the part you’ll play.
To be considered you’ll need:
Well-presented with a friendly personality
Passion for excellent food and service
Good skills and knowledge of cooking and food as a whole
Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
Team-player mentality
Fast pace of work, while maintaining high quality standards
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
Able to work effectively without close supervision
Leadership experience or potential - to manage the kitchen and team in the Head Chef’s absence
