Manufacturing and Production Assistant
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and practical Manufacturing and Production Assistant to support our production team and technician with day-to-day manufacturing and packaging activities.
The main responsibility will be printing information onto product packaging using a foil-printing machine. The successful candidate may also be asked to assist the technician and production team with other straightforward production, packaging, and general workplace tasks.
The work is not physically heavy or complicated. Full instructions and training will be provided for each task.
Main Responsibilities
- Operate a foil-printing machine to print information onto product packaging.
- Prepare packaging materials for printing and production.
- Check printed packaging to ensure that the information is clear, accurate, and correctly positioned.
- Assist the technician and production team with assigned tasks.
- Help with basic product assembly, packing, labelling, and preparation when required.
- Be able to follow all work instructions, quality procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- Keep the work area clean, tidy, and organised.
- Report any printing, equipment, or quality problems to the technician or production team.
- Carry out other reasonable production-related duties as assigned.
Training
Training will begin on the employee’s first day and continue throughout the first week. Additional guidance and instructions will be provided whenever a new task is assigned.
Previous manufacturing or foil-printing experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Physical Requirements
The role involves light production duties and does not normally require heavy lifting. The employee should be comfortable standing or sitting for reasonable periods while carrying out printing, packaging, or production tasks.
Pay: From £12.75 per hour
