This role will be to fabricate structural steel and architectural metalwork in line with employer or customer specifications and fabrication drawings.
Also expected to carry our other miscellaneous duties to ensure the smooth running of a fabrication workshop.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Working from drawings
- Making jigs
- Produce cutting/material lists
- Tacking up
- Weld to completion
- Manufacture own components
- Check and sign off others work
Knowledge of reading and understanding drawings is essential for this role. Previous experience is an advantage.
Rate of pay negotiable
