Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join us as a SIA Trainer. This role involves delivering accredited Emergency First Aid at Work and Door Supervisor security qualifications in line with SIA and awarding body requirements. You will help learners gain the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to work in the private security industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a security background, good communication skills and a professional attitude who would like to move into a training and teaching role.
You will be able to drive and have a vehicle (expenses paid) to take learning to the communities of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of accredited security qualifications in line with SIA and awarding body standards
- Follow lesson plans, training materials and centre procedures provided during in-house training
- Assist with practical activities and role-plays (e.g. conflict management, and physical intervention where qualified)
- Help conduct assessments, exams and invigilation under the guidance of senior staff
- Provide clear, professional feedback and support to learners
- Keep accurate registers, basic learner records and other required paperwork
- Follow health and safety, safeguarding, always Prevent duty and GDPR requirements
- Ensure training rooms, equipment and materials are set up and used safely and correctly
- Take part in standardisation, internal quality assurance (IQA) activities and staff meetings as required
- Participate in ongoing CPD and in-house training to build your skills, knowledge and confidence as a trainer
Qualifications
- Highfield Approved Status for Security
- Minimum of Award in Education and Training at L3 or equivalent
- Minimum of TAQA Level 3 or equivalent Assessor qualifications
- Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3
- Level 3 Physical Intervention Training
- Level 3 Conflict Management
- Enhanced DBS check to be undertaken

Pay: £150.00-£225.00 per day
