Job Overview
The Trading Operator will be responsible for monitoring trading activities, processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the trading team to ensure operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and support daily trading operations and transaction processing
Execute trades in accordance with company procedures and risk controls
Reconcile trade records and resolve discrepancies promptly
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly trading reports
Monitor market activity and provide operational support to the trading team
Maintain accurate trading documentation and records
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with finance, operations, and compliance teams to improve trading processes
Requirements
Previous experience in trading operations, financial services, investment operations, or a related field
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline
Experience with trading platforms or financial market systems
Knowledge of financial markets, securities, or commodities trading
Pay: £39,312.95-£78,722.45 per year
