Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Level 3 Practitioner/Educator to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and educational activities to children, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging educational activities tailored to children's developmental needs
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care at all times
- Manage daily routines including mealtimes, playtimes, and rest periods in accordance with organisational policies
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through clear communication and professional conduct
- Lead by example in promoting inclusive practices and behavioural management strategies
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and developmental milestones
- Support the onboarding and mentoring of new staff or interns as required
- Organise and supervise outdoor activities ensuring safety standards are upheld
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery environment by suggesting enhancements or new initiatives
Experience
- Proven experience working with children within early childhood education or childcare settings
- Management experience is desirable but not essential; leadership qualities are highly valued
- Knowledge of nursery practices, child development theories, and early years curriculum frameworks
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Experience working with children with diverse needs or backgrounds is advantageous
- Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transport requirements if applicable
