Kandy Kitchen Creations LTD is an award-winning family business that was formed in 2017 and is based in Rochdale.
We hand-produce artisan soup, risotto, stew and pudding packs that are stacked in clear tubes ‘sand-art’ style and branded ‘Crafty Cook’.
Our business gained national recognition in 2022/23 when we appeared on BBC’s Dragons’ Den.
We supply retailers all over the country and sell direct to the public via our own website, partner websites and face to face at events.
We have very traditional values – outstanding customer service, quality products and respect for each member of staff. We work hard but find the time to laugh.
The role
We want someone who will, in time, learn the whole of the business, freeing up one Director to concentrate on development initiatives. The post-holder will provide full managerial responsibilities should the Directors be unavailable.
Strong IT / social media / e-commerce knowledge is essential, as the role will also oversee social media posts and product sales on a variety of e-commerce websites.
What we’re looking for – essential criteria
- Management or senior supervisory experience – ideally in a food related industry. Excellent IT skills, ideally with strong social media content experience and some previous e-commerce knowledge. A strong communicator who isn’t afraid to talk to customers and suppliers on the phone, including making sales calls. A team player. The ability to be flexible with hours as some weekend work may be needed at times. Ideally with access to own transport as some external work (ie events) may be necessary.
