Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday 8.00am-4.30pm
Friday 8.00am-4.00pm (Friday working is essential)
Totalling 37.75 hours per week
Hours can be negotiated.
Duties:
- Assembly of electronic products in accordance with work instructions, production schedule and quality requirements
- Hand soldering of electronic components onto PCBA's to IPC-A-610 standards
- Operation of production and inspection equipment- full training given
- Complete production and quality documentation as required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Compliance with ESD protection requirements
- Support the Company’s continual improvement, 5S and lean initiatives
- Complete any other reasonable tasks beneficial to the business
About you:
- Ability to operate, at pace, to a high degree of accuracy and diligence is essential
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- Capable of working to written instructions & diagrams
- Will need to be flexible with the demands of the business
Qualifications:
IPC-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 preferable but not essential, however certification must be passed once full training has been given.
Previous experience in soldering or electronics is desirable, but full training will be provided.
Those from an industry with transferable skills such as a machine operator, jewellery making or work involving a high attention to detail will also be considered.
