Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook/Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing quality dishes such as smashed burgers/Loaded fries/Fried chicken and more.
Supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food production and hospitality to showcase their leadership and culinary expertise in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Prepare a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including supervising kitchen staff
- Lead and motivate team members to maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and efficiency.
- Manage food inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage practices are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating innovative culinary techniques.
- Serve meals to customers when required, providing excellent hospitality service.
- Take orders in-store and over the phone.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results.
- Train new staff members on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Cook or Chef within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Supervising experience is highly desirable, demonstrating leadership in a culinary setting.
- Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
- Experience in team management, motivating staff to achieve high performance levels.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving customers and managing kitchen workflows.

- Level 2 food Hygiene required/ Level 3 food hygiene desired.
Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
