Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicating clearly with kitchen staff and baristas to ensure timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, upselling specials and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
- Monitor guest needs throughout their visit, responding promptly to requests or concerns with a positive attitude
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed, ensuring smooth coordination between front-of-house and kitchen operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred, enthusiasm and a customer-focused mindset are essential
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Basic math skills for processing orders, bills, and payments accurately
- Experience with serving or bartending is advantageous; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are key qualities for success in this role
