Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Office Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our commercial premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a tidy, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Prior experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a professional setting, contributing to the overall organisation’s standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Duties
- Clean and disinfect all office areas, including desks, chairs, tables, and communal spaces
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly to maintain a spotless environment
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning materials as needed
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and other surfaces to ensure clarity and shine
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchenettes and washroom facilities
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties to management
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to manage daily cleaning schedules efficiently
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards hygiene standards
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning operations
