About the Role
Looking to kickstart a career with a growing company? We have an exciting new opportunity for a Tire Pressure Tester to join our expanding multi-site tire recycling team.
You will be responsible for inspecting returned tires, testing pressure levels, checking for structural damage or defects, and sorting tires based on their condition for recycling or reuse.

Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for inspecting returned tires, testing pressure levels, checking for structural damage or defects, and sorting tires based on their condition for recycling or reuse.
- Lace tyres onto stillages according to quality/grade
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pressure testing equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal operation.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks, handling tyres and related materials with proper technique to prevent injury.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
- Communicate clearly with team members and supporting operational needs as required.
- Adhere to all site safety rules at all times, reporting any potential dangers observed
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
- Previous experience in maintenance or tyre-related work is a bonus but not mandatory.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and Integrity are a must

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
