This is an exciting opportunity to join a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded clinical research project developing a brief psychological intervention for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) for adults who have experienced serious injury. The intervention will be delivered within the King’s College Hospital (KCH) Major Trauma Centre (MTC) outpatient psychology service. KCH MTC is one of four major trauma centres in London providing specialist multidisciplinary care for patients with severe and complex physical injuries.
The post holder will work across clinical and research settings, contributing to co-design workshops with lived experience advisors, participant mental health screening, triage and informed consent, questionnaire data collection, database management, and qualitative interviews. They will support accurate and secure data management, contribute to analysis and dissemination activities, and assist with the effective coordination of the study, including organising meetings, preparing documentation, and maintaining clear and accurate study records.

The post holder will support the delivery of an NIHR funded clinical research study developing early psychological intervention for major trauma patients, working across King’s College Hospital and the IoPPN at King’s College London.
