We are currently recruiting for full-time Bakery Operatives to work on the day/night shift in our Main Bakery at Crescent Road. Our quality produce and our employees are the key to our success and our Bakery Operatives are a vital part of that.
Bakery colleagues work as part of a team to achieve production requirements on a daily basis, ensuring that all work is undertaken in accordance with the Company procedures to meet product quality standards. It is a fast paced but friendly production environment.

THE HOURS
· Day shift start: between 6:00am and 7.00am;
· Night shift start: between 5pm and 7pm
· Shift finish: our policy is "job & finish", when the job is done then the staff is allowed to leave. On average our staff work 8.5 hours/day, however as production levels may vary on a daily basis, you will have to be flexible with your working hours;
- 5 days per week Monday to Sunday.
THE ROLE
Your daily duties will include, but not limited to:
· working on the packing line,
· packing various freshly made baked products
· adhering to health and safety policies on site
· manual handling, lifting, carrying
· All roles are standing jobs.
THE PERSON
· Good spoken and written communication skills are required
· Must be able to communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
· Must be able to work as part of the team to achieve quality production requirements on a daily basis.
· Experience in the food manufacturing environment is required; full on-the-job training will be provided.
· Be able to deliver and maintain high quality standards.
· Please note that all operative positions are offered on temporary contracts initially, however, colleagues who work hard, fit in, learn fast and are reliable are likely to secure a permanent position with the Company.
· Must be 18 years and over (due to the use of machinery).
· You must be eligible to work in the UK.
