About Us
Swedish Sports Massage is expanding and transitioning into our new multidisciplinary brand, Releef.
Our aim is to develop Releef into a wider health, rehabilitation and wellness clinic, bringing together skilled practitioners from different disciplines under one brand.
As part of this expansion, we are looking for self-employed practitioners including:
- Physiotherapists
- Sports Massage Therapists
- Osteopaths
- Chiropractors
- Podiatrists / Chiropodists
- Reflexologists
- Other relevant health, rehabilitation or complementary therapy professionals
All levels of experience will be considered. We are particularly interested in finding reliable, professional and motivated practitioners who want to develop alongside a growing clinic and brand.
Important – You Must Live Very Close to the Clinic
One of the most important requirements for this position is living within a few minutes of our Burley Road clinic.
We receive a significant number of same-day and last-minute enquiries. Being based nearby means that, when you have indicated you are available, you may be able to accommodate appointments at relatively short notice.
For this reason, this opportunity is particularly suitable for someone who lives locally and is looking for flexible self-employed work.
Flexible Availability & Minimum Commitment
We are not specifically looking for evening or weekend staff. We are looking for practitioners who can offer flexibility across mornings, daytime, evenings and weekends.
However, we require a minimum regular commitment of:
At least one morning/daytime period per week AND one evening or weekend period per week.
For example:
- Tuesday morning + Thursday evening
- Wednesday daytime + Saturday
- Monday afternoon + Sunday
- Friday daytime + Wednesday evening
The exact days and times can be discussed according to your circumstances and the needs of the clinic.
As this is a self-employed, commission-based position, there are no guaranteed fixed hours or salary. Appointments are offered according to client demand and your agreed availability.
We value flexibility, but we also need practitioners who can provide reliable and consistent availability once their regular times have been agreed.
Optional Home Visits / Outcalls
If you have your own vehicle and are comfortable travelling to clients, there may also be opportunities to provide treatments in clients' homes.
We occasionally receive enquiries from clients who would prefer a practitioner to visit them at home, including people who may have difficulty travelling to the clinic.
Home visits are optional and are not a requirement of the position. However, practitioners with their own vehicle who are interested in offering outcalls may have access to additional appointments and earning opportunities.
Any home-visit appointments would be offered according to your availability, location and willingness to travel.
Comfortable on Camera & Social Media
As Releef grows, we want our practitioners to become recognisable faces of the brand.
You must therefore be comfortable and confident speaking on camera and willing to participate in short educational and promotional videos for Instagram Reels and other social-media platforms, generally on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
Content could include:
- Demonstrating exercises and stretches
- Rehabilitation and mobility advice
- Explaining common injuries or conditions
- Posture and movement advice
- Injury-prevention tips
- Answering common client questions
- Demonstrating treatment techniques where appropriate
- Discussing your specialist area
- Introducing services available at Releef
- General health, rehabilitation and wellbeing advice
You do not need to be an experienced content creator or influencer. We are looking for someone who can communicate naturally, professionally and confidently and is happy to represent themselves and Releef on camera.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal practitioner will:
- Hold appropriate qualifications for their profession
- Hold professional registration where required
- Have appropriate professional/indemnity insurance
- Live within a few minutes of our Burley Road clinic
- Be reliable and punctual
- Have a friendly and professional approach with clients
- Provide at least one morning/daytime and one evening/weekend period each week
- Maintain their agreed availability consistently
- Be comfortable speaking and presenting on camera
- Be willing to contribute to social-media content
- Be interested in developing their own client base
- Be interested in growing alongside the Releef brand
- Work well alongside practitioners from different healthcare and therapy backgrounds
- Have their own vehicle if interested in optional home visits/outcalls
Pay
£20–£60 per hour
This is a self-employed, commission-based opportunity. Earnings will depend on the service provided, appointment type, pricing and agreed commission arrangement.
Practitioners who choose to offer home visits may also have opportunities for additional appointments.

- An important part of this role is creating short, professional social media Reels and educational content. All content will be filmed and produced at the clinic under the guidance of the company/founder. Full support will be provided with content ideas, topics and presentation, so you will not be expected to produce content independently.
Content may include exercises, stretches, rehabilitation advice, treatment demonstrations and information related to your expertise. This is also an opportunity to introduce yourself to our audience, build your professional profile within Releef and potentially attract more clients to your services.
