We're now looking for a Transport Planner to be responsible for the effective planning and monitoring of allocated orders.
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- To ensure strong and effective relationships are maintained with both customer and hauliers.
- Optimise routes to ensure maximum efficiency in terms of cost, transit time, and resource utilisation, while maintaining service quality.
- Produce and maintain daily operational reports, ensuring all customer bookings are accurately planned and communicated within agreed deadlines.
- Responsible for achieving and maintaining KPI SLA agreements.
- Management of subcontractor & partner relationship to drive improved performance and communication.
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Have experience in a transport planning role.
- Paragon system experience is desirable but not essential.
- Computer literacy.
- Customer relationship/service experience.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
