Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook traditional tandoori dishes with precision, ensuring authentic flavors and presentation standards are met.
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously, maintaining excellent guest service at all times.
- Assist in setting up the front of house area, including table arrangements, cleanliness, and ambiance to create an inviting environment.
- Take customer orders accurately, upsell menu items effectively to enhance the dining experience, and handle transactions efficiently.
- Maintain food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices and adhering to food preparation guidelines.
- Manage time effectively during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth restaurant operations.
- Engage with guests warmly, answer questions about menu items, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings, preferably with food preparation or culinary background.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to handle serving duties with professionalism, including taking orders and managing guest interactions.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and managing inventory or supplies.
- Experience working in a kitchen environment or culinary setting is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that promotes a positive dining atmosphere.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail in all responsibilities.
