Vehicle Conversion Technician

Are you passionate about vehicles and enjoy working with your hands? Due to continued growth, Vision Tech Automotive is looking for a Vehicle Conversion Technician to join our expanding workshop team.
Whether you already have experience or are looking to learn a new trade, we'd love to hear from you. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
The Role
Working as part of our experienced workshop team, you'll be involved in converting a wide range of vehicles into high-quality campervans and specialist vehicles.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carefully removing vehicle interior panels without causing damage.
- Labelling and data-tagging vehicle components.
- Fitting bespoke interior conversions.
- Using power tools safely and accurately.
- Maintaining exceptional attention to detail throughout every build.
- Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
What We're Looking ForEssential:
- A good eye for detail and pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
- Competent using power tools.
- A genuine passion for vehicles.
- Reliable, hardworking and eager to learn.
- Experience is not essential – full training will be provided.
- A full UK driving licence and your own transport are recommended due to our rural location.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a vehicle bodyshop environment.
- Experience as an Auto Electrician.
- Previous experience fitting vehicle interiors or campervan conversions.
