Overview

Duties
- Support lead nursery staff in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional development
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
- Assist with the preparation and organization of educational materials and resources for daily activities
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a welcoming environment
- Help maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the nursery setting to ensure a healthy environment
- Support management in monitoring children’s progress and documenting developmental milestones
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by collaborating with colleagues and participating in staff meetings
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is highly preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Management or leadership experience is advantageous for supporting group activities or mentoring new staff
- Valid driving license is a plus for transporting children or supplies when needed
- Demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures diligently and maintain a nurturing attitude towards young learners

Pay: £30,420.00-£34,743.45 per year
