The Financial Reporting and Control team are growing in response to the demands of a fast-growing business. Led by Head of Group Financial Reporting, the team work closely with Tax, Treasury and transactional finance teams. The team are responsible for timely and accurate reporting of Group and subsidiary numbers.

Drive accurate international financial reporting
The successful candidate will be a key player in the Financial Reporting and Control team as well as the wider finance function of a thriving FTSE-250 Company. Driving the accuracy and timeliness of corporate reporting, internally and externally, with a key focus on Softcat's international business. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved across all areas of the business and implement changes which ultimately improve reporting quality.
As a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant - Multinational, you'll be responsible for:
- Owning and evolving technical accounting and reporting for areas such as revenue recognition, Consolidation, FX, intercompany.
- Ensuring international entity accounting, reporting and cash management requirements are met.
- Providing timely and accurate managinement accounts, financial statements and variance analysis.
- Ensuring readiness and assist in delivering successful Group HY and YE audits, along with being the key contact for local GAAP / international audits.
- Identifying & delivering continuous improvement in finance processes and reporting.
- Supporting the multinational team and commercial finance on accounting and reporting matters.
We'd love you to have
- Qualified with c.2 years PQE in practice or industry.
- Strong technical accounting & analytical skills with the ability to clearly document and convey complex topics.
- A drive to succeed and progress.
- Ability to present to and influence others, including senior stakeholders.
- Confident dealing with large datasets and strong MS Excel skills.
