The Role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial aspects of retail refurbishment projects. Reporting directly to the Managing Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing Construction Management Contracts.
- Managing Collateral Warranties and JCT Contracts.
- Procuring and managing trade packages.
- Conducting cash flow forecasting.
- Preparing monthly valuations and managing variations/Final Accounts (FA).
- Providing weekly commercial reports and updates.
- Attending weekly design and progress meetings.
- Supporting projects with new-build commercial construction expertise.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Degree-qualified in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in warehouse construction is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of construction management and contract administration.
- Familiarity with JCT contracts and collateral warranties.
- Excellent team player with a proactive and professional attitude.
- Ideally based in or around London.
