Are you a Clinical Pharmacist looking for a long term opportunity within Primary Care?
We are working exclusively with a highly regarded Primary Care Network in Middlesex that is looking to appoint a Clinical Pharmacist on a long term fixed term locum contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive multidisciplinary team with the security of a long term booking running until the middle of next year.
If you enjoy building relationships with patients, working collaboratively with GPs and other clinicians, and making a genuine impact within Primary Care, this could be the perfect role.
The Role
- Full time position
- Immediate start available
- Long term contract until approximately mid 2027
- Up to £35 per hour depending on experience
- Based within an established and supportive Primary Care Network
- Opportunity to work alongside experienced GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses and wider MDT
Key Responsibilities
- Structured medication reviews
- Medicines optimisation
- Long term condition management
- Responding to medication queries
- Supporting prescribing safety and clinical audits
- Working closely with GP teams to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
- Registered with the GPhC
- Previous experience working within a UK GP Surgery is essential
- CPPE Pathway completed is essential
- Independent Prescriber qualification is highly desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication and clinical decision making skills
- Ability to use SystmOne
