Coordinating a small shunting team at a busy customer site, ensuring trailers are safely prepared, loaded and presented for dispatch while acting as the key link between operations, drivers and the customer.
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
Coordinating a small team in a busy distribution yard ensuring trailers are correctly loaded, secured, checked and ready for departure.
Completing trunking deliveries from the brewery to RDC's and other locations.
Liaising with transport operations, shift managers and the customer regarding trailer movements and priorities.
Supporting on-site shunting activities and trailer positioning across the brewery site.
Maintaining health, safety and compliance standards while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
Hold a valid Category C+E / Class 1 Driving Licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Enjoy leading others and taking responsibility for team performance.
Are confident communicators who can build relationships with customers and operational teams.
Take pride in working safely and ensuring processes are followed correctly.
