Our Care Assistants provide crucial care and support to our customers in the comfort of their own homes, therefore, it is essential all applicants hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own car that they can use for work purposes.
Pay Rates: £13.00ph
Hours: Full Time or Part Time. All hours include alternate weekends.
What you’ll be doing - Every day is different, but your role as a Care Professional will include:
- Supporting customers with personal care, daily routines, meal preparation and mobility
- Following individual care plans and providing support tailored to each customer’s needs
- Building positive relationships with customers and their families
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date care records
- Supporting customers to attend appointments and access their local community where required
- Helping to maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment
- Working alongside colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure customers receive the best possible care
- Completing training and developing your skills, including using IT systems for care documentation
What we’re looking for - You don’t necessarily need previous care experience, if you’re caring, dependable and genuinely want to help others, we’d love to hear from you. Previous experience as a Care Assistant, Carer, Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker is desirable, but full training and support will be provided.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a warm, compassionate and respectful approach
- Communicates confidently in English
- Can understand and follow individual care plans
- Has basic IT skills and is comfortable completing records
- Is reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Has a full UK driving licence with access to your own car
