Complex Care Support Worker
About the Role
We are looking for caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Workers to join a dedicated care team supporting a 14-year-old young man with complex health and care needs in his family home.

About the Young Person
The young person lives with his grandmother and older sibling and requires a high level of support with all aspects of daily living.
He has diagnoses including:
- Cerebral Palsy
- Global Developmental Delay
- Four Limb Hypertonia
- Delayed Visual Maturation
- Tongue Occlusion
He is non-verbal and communicates through facial expressions, vocalisations, and body language. He enjoys interaction, laughter, music, children's TV, sensory activities, and engaging with those around him.
Responsibilities
You will support with:
- Personal care and continence care
- PEG feeding and medication administration following competency sign-off
- Tracheostomy care
- Suctioning and oxygen support
- Moving and handling using specialist equipment
- Hoisting and positioning
- Monitoring health, wellbeing, and comfort
- Supporting communication and social interaction
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting concerns appropriately
Specialist Equipment Used
- Manual wheelchair
- Ceiling track hoist
- Mobile hoist
- Slings
- Suction machine
- Pressure-relieving equipment

Full training, shadowing, and competency assessments will be provided for the right candidates.

Pay Rates:
- Weekdays: £15.19 per hour (£14.40 during training)
- Weekends: £15.19 per hour (£14.40 during training)
- Waking Nights: £15.86 per hour (£14.40 during training)
- Bank Holidays: £16.81 per hour
