Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and oversee our cleaning team. The successful candidate will ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction across our premises. The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily operations, coordinating staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises to verify cleanliness standards are met.
- Organise staff schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to maintain high-quality service delivery.
- Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with clients and staff to address any issues or special requirements promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, supplies, and cleaning schedules.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of housekeeping staff.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional standards of cleanliness and client satisfaction.
- Valid driving licence is desirable to facilitate transportation needs.
- Ability to organise tasks efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience using basic cleaning equipment and understanding health & safety protocols is advantageous.
