Bank Occupational Therapist - Band 6
Join the Merton Domiciliary Therapy Team as a Bank Occupational Therapist , supporting adults with frailty and complex needs to remain independent at home. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will assess patients and deliver personalised rehabilitation plans to promote recovery, mobility, and wellbeing.
This flexible role involves providing home-based assessments, contributing to rehabilitation planning, and supporting the development of junior staff where appropriate. Your work will help prevent hospital admissions and support safe, effective care in the community.

Deliver high-quality, person-centred rehabilitation to patients in their homes, care homes, and community settings as part of the MDT.
Assess and provide tailored OT interventions for patients with complex physical, cognitive and functional needs.
Manage a caseload of patients, working autonomously and collaborating with MDT colleagues to ensure coordinated care.
Promote independence through rehabilitation, mobility support, equipment provision and environmental adaptations.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, students and rehabilitation support workers, fostering a supportive learning environment.
Lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to service development, audits and clinical pathway improvements.
Liaise with statutory, voluntary and community services to support integrated care delivery.
Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in governance activities to ensure high standards of care.
Support the professional development of the team through training and continuous learning.
