Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and software applications such as Microsoft Office.
- Assist with network connectivity issues, including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and other security protocols to ensure secure and reliable access.
- Maintain and support computer hardware components, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals to maximize operational efficiency.
- Utilize IT service management tools like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and Asset Management systems to track incidents, manage requests, and document resolutions thoroughly.
- Collaborate with team members on projects involving system upgrades or deployments while providing clear communication throughout the process.
- Educate users on best practices for cybersecurity measures such as firewall configurations and VPN usage to promote a safe digital workspace.
Skills
- Strong understanding of computer networking concepts including LAN setup, VPNs, firewalls, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot software issues across various platforms efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Experience supporting desktop environments and hardware components in a fast-paced environment.
