An exciting opportunity has arisen and we looking for Childcare Assistant to cover maternity leave at our nursery in Pontypridd. The role will involve working with children to support their development, to safeguard them and to promote their welfare.
The Candidate will preferably hold a level 3 childcare qualification or if not a recognised Level 2 Childcare Qualification .
A level 2 or 3 Playworks qualification is desirable but not essential.
The post is for:
Maternity Cover ( Potential for another job offer at end of contract)
42.5 hours per week, 17:15-4:15/ 9-6 Monday to Friday, 50 weeks of the year
Successful candidates will be given full support and training opportunities to include mandatory fields e.g. Safeguarding, First aid and those relating to continual professional development in addition to those reflecting good practice. Training may need to be undertaken outside of normal working hours.
The post is subject to pre employment checks including but not limited to: DBS checks, qualification checks, reference checks and identity checks
