Weldmar Salary Scale: £26,298 per annum FTE
£14,025 pro rata 20 hours per week
Two 10-hour shifts per week

At Weldmar Hospicecare, we believe that high quality, nutritious food plays a vital role in the comfort and care of our patients. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our Facilities team.
No prior professional kitchen experience? No problem. This role incorporates traditional kitchen assistant responsibilities with a junior chef development pathway. We will provide you with full training and continuous personal development to help you become a professional chef.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
· Assist in the preparation, cooking, and beautiful presentation of fresh dishes.
· Ensure the kitchen environment remains safe, clean, and hygienic in line with food safety standards.
· Interact warmly and compassionately with patients, visitors, and staff.
· Cover shifts during holidays or absences and support all hotel and catering services.
