We are seeking a dedicated Mobile Plant Operator to join our team in Livingston. In this role, you will be instrumental in operating various waste management machinery, supporting our mission to provide efficient and environmentally friendly waste disposal services. Responsibilities
- Operate mobile plant machinery including excavators and waste grabs safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with loading and unloading waste materials at our site.
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance.
- Support the company's commitment to environmental sustainability by ensuring proper waste handling.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving and operating mobile plant machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to waste management equipment.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on machinery.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Prior experience with excavators is preferred but not essential.
