The Role
As a Supply Teacher, you will work across different primary schools, delivering engaging lessons and ensuring pupils continue to receive high-quality education in the absence of their usual teacher.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
- Creating a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Supporting pupils with their learning and development
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
- Providing continuity of learning throughout the school day
- Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff
- Completing any necessary handover or feedback for the class teacher
About You
We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teachers who are confident stepping into different classroom environments and able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
You will ideally have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to adapt quickly to different schools and year groups
- A reliable and professional approach
