An exciting position has arisen to join our busy team as a workshop technician.
Your everyday duties would include:
- Carrying out habitation services.
- Fault finding and rectification of heating, water, gas and electrical issues including 12 volt.
- Fitting awnings, bike racks, TV aerials and general repairs.
- Carrying out pre-delivery inspections and vehicle handover.
The ideal applicant will need the following attributes:
- Workshop / carpentry / general tool skills.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- To be self-motivated with pride in your work.
- Strong time management with ability to complete tasks within timescales and to quality standards.
- To be presentable with good communication skills.
Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.00pm
One Saturday a month 9am-5pm (Handovers and vehicle prep)
Additional hours may be required when busy (paid at time and a half)
Negotiable salary subject to experience.
20 days holiday + bank holidays (5 days to be taken during Christmas shutdown)
Initial 6-month trial period prior to full contract being issued.
A company pension is in place and you will be automatically enrolled after the trial period.
In-house training for the duration of the trial period then NCC, AWS and industry training until you are fully qualified (this should take a maximum of 36 months)
Salary depending on expierance - £25,000 - £32,000
