Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous experience in a similar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with company standards and legal requirements for food safety.
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and prompt service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system and manage card payments securely.
- Assist in setting up the bar before service hours and closing down at the end of shifts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Strong serving skills with a friendly attitude towards guests.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy times.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
