DegreeSix Recruitment is a leading SEND specialist agency who provides support to schools in and around Bedfordshire. We provide compassionate and committed SEND Teaching Assistants to support some of the country’s most vulnerable pupils.
We work with a variety of schools in Bedfordshire who are seeking SEND Teaching Assistants to start in September on a long-term placement basis.
About the role!
Your role will include building positive relationships with students and staff alike to build their independence and support SEND students in reaching their potential.
Main responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 or small group support for SEND students
- Carrying out interventions
- Supporting student’s emotional needs.
- Maintaining a safe environment for students to thrive.

Requirements for the role!
To be successful within this role, you will need:
- Relevant experience working with SEND students
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle
- DBS certificate (There is a small charge if you require a new certificate)
