We are looking for a Director of Client Services who can take ownership of our client relationships and service delivery strategy. You will lead key accounts, oversee client programmes, and ensure that every engagement delivers clear and measurable business value.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, internal delivery teams, and external partners to translate client objectives into practical solutions. You will also play an important role in developing our client services function, supporting business growth, and maintaining consistently high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders. Act as the primary escalation point for major accounts and ensure client expectations are clearly understood and managed.
Service Delivery Leadership:
Oversee the delivery of client programmes and services. Ensure projects are completed to the agreed scope, quality standards, budget, and timeline.
Account Strategy:
Develop strategic account plans that support client retention, service expansion, and long term commercial growth.
Team Leadership:
Lead, coach, and support client services managers and account teams. Set clear performance expectations and encourage a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Commercial Management:
Monitor account performance, profitability, contracts, and service agreements. Identify commercial risks and recommend appropriate actions.
Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with operations, finance, business development, and senior leadership to align client requirements with company capabilities.
Performance Reporting:
Establish clear service performance measures and provide regular reports to clients and internal management.
Continuous Improvement:
Review client feedback, service results, and operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement and greater efficiency.
Risk and Issue Management:
Identify potential delivery risks and client concerns at an early stage. Lead appropriate resolution plans and ensure issues are managed professionally.
Business Development Support:
Support proposals, client presentations, contract renewals, and discussions relating to additional services.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 7 years of experience in client services, account management, consulting, business services, or professional services, including a minimum of 2 years in a senior leadership role.
Leadership:
Demonstrated experience leading client facing teams and managing complex service delivery environments.
Client Management:
Strong experience working with senior decision makers and managing high value or strategically important client accounts.
Commercial Understanding:
Good knowledge of contracts, budgets, account profitability, service agreements, and commercial negotiations.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present recommendations clearly and confidently.
Problem Solving:
A practical and solutions focused approach to resolving client concerns, delivery challenges, and operational issues.
Organisation:
Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage several clients, projects, and stakeholders at the same time.
Education:
A degree in business administration, management, finance, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Mindset:
You are commercially aware, client focused, and comfortable taking responsibility for important decisions. You understand when to challenge existing processes and when to focus on delivering practical results.
Pay: £79,002.00-£100,000.00 per year
