Roofing Estimator / Surveyor
Essence Roofing & Building Services Ltd – Glasgow
We’re looking for a motivated, switched-on Roofing Estimator / Surveyor to join our growing team.
You’ll be out quoting jobs, responding to leads quickly, building relationships with homeowners, and winning work. You must be on the ball with email, confident on the phone, and able to get quotes turned around within 24 max after a site visit. Same day where possible.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in roofing & building estimating/surveying
- Excellent presentation and people skills
- Professional telephone manner – able to build rapport fast
- Able to sell – not just measure
- Good written communication – quotes need to look sharp
- Self-motivated and organised – this isn’t a desk job
- Computer literate – you’ll be using our in-house quoting system (training provided)
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience using a drone is a bonus
- Tender experience is preferred
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have solid experience in domestic roofing – slate, tile, flat, general building works
- Already be quoting and winning work in a similar role
- Be hungry, adaptable, and looking to grow in a fast-paced business.
