As the face of HR for our field teams, this position plays a highly visible role in supporting our people and culture. To best enable that connection, this role is based on-site five days per week.
Senior HR Advisors support dedicated business portfolios across a range of operational and corporate locations, building strong relationships with leaders and teams while delivering proactive, commercially focused people support.
In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a consistent, high-quality employee experience across Head Office and client sites at Ethos Farm. You will partner closely with leaders and colleagues to provide professional, hands-on HR support, enabling managers to lead effectively, address people-related challenges, and build engaged, high-performing teams. You will also take responsibility for designated focus projects across the Senior HR Advisor team, leading on initiatives such as employee benefits, learning and development, and apprenticeship programmes. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will help ensure these programmes remain effective, compliant, commercially focused, and aligned to the needs of a diverse workforce
Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership
- Collaborate with the HR Director, and other HR team members, to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.▪
- Provide insight and advice on workforce planning, compensation, benefits, talent development, and succession planning.▪
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to improve outcomes and enhance efficiency.
- Talent Attraction, Management & Development▪
- Identify and share learning opportunities to continuously improve our impact.▪
- Partner with the business and recruitment team on all activities related to hiring and recruitment.
- Lead talent management initiatives, including recruitment, performance evaluations, career development, and leadership training programs.
- Support management in identifying high-potential talent and managing succession planning processes.
- Change Management
- Support and guide managers through organisational changes, such as restructures, TUPE, and workforce transitions.
- Lead change management initiatives and ensure successful implementation of new policies, processes, and systems.
- Employee Relations
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring adherence to organisational policies and processes.
- Investigate employee complaints, mediate disputes, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, performance issues, and disciplinary procedures.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Support our Benefits & Compensation programs ensuring our approach and plan can keep pace with our growth.
- Be responsible for researching benefits providers, negotiating rates, and working with insurance brokers and carriers to ensure employees receive the best possible benefits.
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to foster a more inclusive workplace.
- Collaborate with the HR Director on building strategies that support diversity in hiring, development, and retention.
- HR Analytics and Metrics▪
- Use data and HR metrics to make informed decisions and recommendations.▪
- Analyse trends in HR metrics such as sickness absences, turnover, retention, and employee engagement, and develop solutions to address challenges.

- Policy Implementation & Compliance▪
- Ensure all HR policies and practices are following current legislation.
- Partner with the HR Director to mitigate risk and handle regulatory issues.
- Provide recommendations for updates or changes to HR policies and practices based on changing business needs.
- Deliver all business practices safely, ethically, sustainably and in compliance with legislation.
Required knowledge, skills and experience
Proven experience as an Senior HR Advisor in a large scale, customer/client led and/or commercial environments
Experience managing ER cases, delivering outcomes that are both commercially sound and legally compliant
Experience working with cross functional HR teams to deliver joined up people solutions
Proven experience with designing and delivering employee benefits programs
Able to understand organisational challenges and identify practical, effective solutions
Able to influence and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
Ability to operate with credibility and confidence
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers
Experience managing organisational change and transformation
Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
Ability to work at pace, manage ambiguity, and deliver practical solution-focused outcomes
Strong organisational skills with effective and structured working methods.▪
High attention to detail and accuracy
Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
Degree-qualified HR professional; CIPD (min level 5) qualification desirable
The essentials
Experience in a similar level role, with experience of employee relations and benefits
Good knowledge of employment law, HR policy, best practice, employee relations and change management approaches
CIPD level 5 qualified/part qualified or studying towards would be beneficial
Excellent communicator, able to lead by example and build long term relationships
Right-to-work in the UK is a must
Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
