Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated A Level Tutor to inspire and support students in achieving their academic goals. Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored tutoring sessions to students preparing for their A Level examinations across various subjects
- Assess students’ current knowledge levels and identify areas for improvement to develop customized lesson plans
- Explain complex concepts clearly and effectively, ensuring students understand and retain material
- Monitor student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching methods as needed
- Support students in developing exam techniques, time management skills, and study strategies
- Maintain detailed records of tutoring sessions, student achievements, and areas requiring further attention
- Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment that boosts student confidence and motivation
Skills
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching at the A Level or equivalent academic level
- Strong communication skills to explain concepts clearly and engage students effectively
- Experience working with children or young learners, demonstrating patience and adaptability
- Knowledge of special education needs and strategies to support diverse learning requirements
- Excellent organizational skills to plan lessons, track progress, and manage multiple students simultaneously
- Ability to motivate students and build trusting relationships that promote active learning
Pay: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Romford RM6 6PP
