The Tickled Trout at Barlow is an award-winning, independently owned gastro pub, renowned for its fresh, locally sourced seasonal produce, exceptional service, and warm, welcoming atmosphere.
We're looking for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our ambitious kitchen team. Working alongside our Head Chef, you'll help lead the kitchen, inspire the team, and deliver exceptional food to a 2 AA Rosette standard.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef, or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready to take the next step, to join a kitchen where quality, creativity, and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef in a quality fresh-food kitchen.
- The ability to cook and maintain 2 AA Rosette standards.
- A passion for seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and producing exceptional dishes.
- Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
- A positive attitude and the ability to motivate and develop the kitchen team.
The Package
- Package up to £40,000 (including tronc), depending on experience.
