About the Role
We are looking for a reliable person to join our growing furniture business on a part-time basis.
The main part of the role will involve cleaning and preparing pre-used sofas for sale, along with helping in our showroom and warehouse and assisting with customer deliveries.
No previous furniture experience is required as full training will be provided.
Main Duties
- Cleaning and preparing pre-used sofas for sale
- Moving sofas and other furniture around the showroom and warehouse
- Helping keep the showroom and warehouse clean and organised
- Assisting with loading and unloading furniture
- Joining us on customer deliveries and helping carry furniture into customers' homes
- Assisting with basic furniture installation where required
- Looking after the showroom independently at times
- Greeting customers and dealing with basic customer enquiries
- Helping with other general duties as the business grows
What We Are Looking For
- Reliable and willing to work
- Comfortable with lifting and manual handling
- Able to work independently when required
- Comfortable speaking to customers
- Able to get to and from our Laurelvale showroom independently
- Flexible with working days
- Willing to work occasional Saturdays
- Previous experience is not essential

Pay: £12.71 per hour
