An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Operative to join their team on a Temporary basis. For the right candidate, this may turn permanent.
This opportunity gives a General Operative the opportunity to work with one of the most respected companies in the North Yorkshire.
As a General operative, your role will be to cover a day shift: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:45pm and Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
The General Operatives primary responsibility being able to work to high standards following procedures.
Main Duties:
· Being quality focused and able to work on own initiative
· Finishing off welded materials (Training Given)
· Assisting the welding team with selecting materials
· Drilling
· Grinding
· Cleaning work areas
· Assembly work
· Working with hand tools
Role Requirements:
· Experience of working in a manufacturing, metal environment
· Excellent communication
· Good attitude and work ethic
· Ability to use your initiative
· Flexibility with regards to shifts and over-time
