Overview
We are seeking a confident and organised Receptionist / Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, managing a variety of administrative tasks to support daily business functions. Previous office experience and strong organisational skills are highly desirable for this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring they are directed appropriately
- Answer incoming calls promptly and efficiently, taking messages or redirecting as necessary
- Manage the reception area, maintaining a tidy and welcoming environment
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, post, and deliveries
- Maintain accurate records
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and meeting room bookings
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Liaise with other departments to facilitate smooth communication across the organisation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times
Experience
- Previous office experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with administrative procedures
- Proven organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with systems such as Xero, TaxCalc or Engager is an advantage
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: Up to £26,500.00 per year
