Vehicle Technician - Independent Jaguar, Land Rover & BMW Specialist
Due to continued growth, RDrive is expanding - and we’re on the lookout for a new technician to join our dedicated team.
About the Role
You will work in a well-equipped, modern workshop specialising in Jaguar, Land Rover, and BMW vehicles. You’ll use the latest diagnostic tools and genuine parts to deliver first-class repair and maintenance work, with the freedom and variety that comes from an independent setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out advanced diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to manufacturer standards across Jaguar, Land Rover, and BMW models.
- Investigate and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and accurately.
- Support other technicians, sharing your knowledge and maintaining workshop standards.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality.
- Maintain precise records and comply with all health, safety, and quality procedures.
- Liaise professionally with service advisors and customers where required, maintaining the business’s reputation for technical excellence and transparency.
About You
- Fully qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) - accreditation or senior-level experience preferred.
- Previous experience within a main dealership (Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, or similar premium brand) highly desirable.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, including use of advanced diagnostic equipment and software.
- Excellent attention to detail, commitment to quality, and pride in your work.
- Able to work independently while supporting a close-knit, professional team.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
- Technician will need their own tooling (excluding specialist tools).
