Receptionist – The Bulkeley Hotel, Beaumaris
Location: The Bulkeley Hotel, Beaumaris, Anglesey
Position: Receptionist
Hours: 4 days per week over a 7-day rota (including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays)
The Bulkeley Hotel is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and professional Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout every guest's stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing a warm, friendly and professional welcome to all guests.
- Managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Handling reservations, enquiries and guest requests in person, by telephone and via email.
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate guest records.
- Providing information about the hotel, local attractions and services.
- Liaising with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Resolving guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintaining high standards of presentation and customer care at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Previous reception or front-of-house experience within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Good computer literacy and experience using hotel booking systems (preferred).
- A professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a rota covering 4 days over a 7-day week, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
