We are looking for a confident, proactive and enthusiastic individual with a keen eye for detail to join our team at one of the largest riding centres in Kent.
Based at the heart of Riding Farm, you’ll help keep our busy equestrian centre running smoothly – making sure our clients receive a warm welcome, our lesson diary stays busy and our instructors’ time is well organised.
This is a varied role combining office-based responsibilities with being out and about on the yard, so it would suit someone who enjoys working with people, horses and being part of a busy equestrian environment.
You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, taking responsibility for your workload and following established Riding Farm procedures. You will be the first point of contact for our riding school and livery clients, meeting and greeting visitors on the stable yard (in all weathers!) and handling enquiries in person, over the phone and by email.
Alongside managing bookings and client enquiries, you’ll support the day-to-day administration of the centre and help ensure things run smoothly behind the scenes.
An important part of the role is keeping our riding school busy and our lesson diary full. You’ll keep a close eye on bookings throughout the week, filling available lesson spaces wherever possible and making sure our instructors’ time is used effectively.
This will include speaking to clients about lesson availability, following up enquiries, managing cancellations and waiting lists, and spotting opportunities to fill quieter spaces in the diary.
We’re looking for someone who will take real ownership of the lesson diary rather than simply taking bookings as they come in.
You’ll be proactive in speaking to clients, finding suitable lesson spaces and helping us make the most of the riding school day.
An equine background or experience in agriculture or farming is a must.
