Job Summary
We are seeking a Pressure Test Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our rigorous testing and assembly. This position requires a strong understanding of PR2 testing qualifications, quality assurance processes, as well as the ability to analyse data effectively.
Duties
- Conduct thorough pressure testing of products to ensure compliance with customer procedure, quality standards and QHSE regulations.
- Carry out gas testing / hydro testing up to 60,000 psi, hyperbaric testing and PR2 testing.
- Assemble customer equipment in line with engineering instruction.
- Carry out plant & equipment maintenance in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule.
- Fault finding and rectification of mechanical equipment.
- Carry out break-down maintenance as required.
- Perform MP & HP coning / threading applications / Small bore tubing (Pipe bending).
- Torquing / bolting knowledge advantageous.
- Perform detailed analysis of test results and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Assist in the development and refinement of testing procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices in quality assurance and testing methodologies.
Experience
- Demonstrable experience of PR2 testing qualifications / fluid power / hydraulic / pneumatic technology and associated testing regimes
- Demonstrable experience of hydrostatic, pneumatic, gas and cryogenic, high temperature testing.
- Knowledge of electronic instrumentation, transducers, flow meters & Computer aided data collection.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
