Joining us as a senior building surveyor you'll be part of our UK building surveying hub in Nottingham.
A team of 20+ building surveyors from apprentices to our head of service, you'll have the opportunity to learn from highly experienced discipline leaders, as well as the chance to mentor, line manage and lead junior team members.
Whilst our Nottingham workstreams are predominantly public sector led projects with design, specification and contract administration services, we also work with private sector clients on professional services instructions. This includes TDD, party wall matters, dilapidations commercial surveys and more.

As a senior building surveyor, your core responsibilities will include:
- Customer relationship management, including developing, growing and maintaining positive relationships with new and existing customers
- Delivery of multi-disciplinary building surveying services to high standards ensuring customer requirements are met
- Working collaboratively to support delivery of built asset solutions, and Gleeds business objectives
- Managing building projects from feasibility through to design, contract administration to handover and post completion reviews
- Mentoring and coaching direct reports and colleagues where appropriate to support both personal, professional and technical development
- Managing services and fees to optimise revenue and profitability
- Actively identify new business development opportunities and driving growth across the Business Unit activities
